Numerology Planes of expression

We all experience our lives on 4 different levels. One is our physical body, others are mental faculty, intuition and, at last, our emotional make-up. Each of stated levels provides us with its own special means of receiving information in the outside world. With our physical bodies, we can taste and touch, feel something painful and pleasant. It gives us an image of what the physical world is like. Intuition and the emotional level, placed into our mental body, allow us to perceive invisible worlds. Our Mental faculty deals with the world of various thoughts.

Our hearts are exclusively preoccupied with emotions. Things that we feel reveal a lot to us about other people and, most importantly, about ourselves. And finally, there is intuition that allows us to contact higher worlds directly. Intuitive insights are just flashes, and irrational ones at that – it is the Mental Plane that deals with the rational – but intuition is felt as if we were instantly getting some hints from our mind. Except perception, intuition ignores all other efforts.

Each and every one of us possesses all the four faculties, but for the majority of our knowledge we normally depend on just one or two of them. Some of us resort to emotions, living in their hearts, while others prefer to rely on their senses and yet others live according to their minds. Numerology can help us understand exactly how we function on each of these planes.

All the letters in the alphabet are separated into four categories: the Physical category, the Mental category, the Emotional category and Intuitive category.

Look at the proportion of each of them in your name, and you'll see which Numerology Planes of Expression are stronger in you and which are weaker. If you look at the sum of the numbers found on each plane (and then reduce it to a single-digit number or a Master number), you'll understand better exactly how you deal with experiences on that plane. With these Planes of Expressions you'll find it much easier to understand your abilities and talents.

In additional to that, the letters of the alphabet are classified according to their grounded (practical), vacillating (wavering) or creative character.

NOTE: Some numerologists consider that we should count the number values of the letters to find the Planes of Expression. However, we don't believe it to be the correct way. Letters possess their own personalities, so when we calculate the Planes of Expression, we should consider the letters on their own merit. For instance, letters E, N and W have the value equal to 5, but in the Planes of Expression chart letters E and W are physical ones, while N is a mental letter.

In the chart below you can see the status of each letter in the alphabet, divided into four categories.

Some food for your thought:

There is no letter in the alphabet, which can be both grounded and emotional at the same time.

All vowel letters are creative, except the vacillating U.

In numerology the whole system of Planes of Expression is one of the most complex charts, but if you understand it well, they will give you a great insight into your own character.
